Moses is the agriculture practice Lead at Outbox Uganda limited, a leading business incubation hub in Uganda where he promotes the growth and development of Agri-SMEs across Uganda. Prior to joining Outbox Uganda Limited, he served in other senior management positions with different organisations and companies for the last 16 years. Moses served as the business development and partnerships Manager with Teach Uganda, and as the Head of Alumni Programs. He was a senior project specialist with One Acre Fund Uganda, a Livelihoods Program Officer with Partners for Children Worldwide, a senior food security Fellow with the Aspen Institute New Voices program, and a food security Fellow with the Global Health Corps. Moses has vast experience in program development, resource mobilisation and fundraising, promotion of climate-smart agriculture technologies, environment conservation, as well as business development using the market systems development approach (MSD). As a senior Fellow with the Aspen Institute New Voices program, he became one of the leading voices in the global south promoting food security and climate action by engaging in speaker events and writing in national and global media outlets. Moses’s education background includes a Master of Science in Pollution and Environment control from the University of Manchester, United Kingdom; a post graduate diploma in Project Planning and Management from the Uganda Management Institute, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture from Makerere University Kampala in Uganda. Moses is excited to join the ICCA board to contribute to the reduction in deprivation, exclusion and vulnerability of children and young people using his experience as a children’s protection advocate; improving providence within families through climate smart agriculture and fighting climate change and ability to mentor some of the young people through the experience he acquired over the 16 years of his career.
