| Okiror Timothy is an Advocate (Lawyer) practicing in the Legal Realms of Uganda. He has vast experience in Commercial, Land, Criminal, Family and Human Rights Law having been part of the legal profession for 15 years.
He practices law both in Uganda and East Africa at large and is a member of the Uganda Law Society and the East African Law Society.
Prior to starting up on active legal Practice, Timothy worked with the Uganda Peoples Defence Forces (UPDF) where he served as a Soldier for 10 years working with the Legal department, Civil Military department, Drafting of the Legal Military policies and Command until he retired in 2019 at the Rank of Captain.
Timothy’s Education background includes a Bachelor of Laws Degree (Hons) from Uganda Christian University, a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from Law Development Centre, Trainings in International Humanitarian Law and Law of armed conflicts from The International Institute of Humanitarian Law in Sanremo, Italy and is actively pursuing a Master’s degree in Institutional Management and Leadership at Uganda Management Institute, Kampala.
Timothy is a practicing Christian, married with a family.
He is a lawyer with a passion for human rights, children affairs and very much against gender-based violence. |
