| Ejoku George William is a highly motivated fifth year Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MB ChB) student at Makerere University, College of Health Sciences in Uganda. He is very enthusiastic on matters of general health and well-being. For as long as he remembers he has always dreamed of a career as a medical practitioner. While at medical school he has had the opportunity to serve on different committees, as a matter of fact he is on the editorial team of the recently published 51st Makerere medical journal.
Currently he is serving as a College Representative and Financial Secretary on the Makerere Debating Union, a body responsible for indulging students and all university stakeholders in discussions of national importance, locally, nationally and internationally.
He therefore joins the ICCA Board of Trustees with that enthusiasm, medical and health background useful for integration of health and nutrition into child protection and to help mobilize the young people to participate in the organisation.
He is confident, he can contribute both in policy guidance but also technically in dealing with challenges facing the children and young people in his medical and health capacity. |
